LAMP Manifesto
Step-by-step guide to govern Sri Lanka
The LAMP Manifesto forces our corrupt leaders to follow a complete set of guidelines to deliver services to the people with transparency and good governance in a uniquely Asian approach to nation building.

Never again will politicians have the power to destroy our motherland.

The LAMP Manifesto is the roadmap our elected politicians will obey. They will be elected to implement the LAMP Manifesto. They will be judged by the people and re-elected on the strength of their performance.
How it works
Transparency
Sunlight drives out the rats. The people will have the constitutional right of access to all government information. This includes all state owned institutions, the central bank, electricty board, armed forces, police force, municipal councils, and government institutions. All contracts, payments, ledgers, supplier details, and bank records will be published online to stop secret deals

Corruption
Zero tolerance of corruption at all levels of government. Prison terms for politicians receiving bribes. Prison terms for business leaders paying bribes. Legal protection and large financial rewards for whistleblowers

Elections
The power of the people comes through elections held every 12 months for the president, and also every 12 months for parliament, to ensure the people can quickly remove politicians who do not uphold the LAMP Manifesto

Political Parties
LAMP Manifesto does not support any political party as they are all corrupt and incapable of transformation. The manifesto is neutral and ready for members of all parties to get to work on implementation
Wealth
We reject unlimited capitalism which only helps the rich get richer. The government will collect tax from individuals and companies based on who can afford to pay. And spend the money wisely to help the poor, the sick, and the elderly
War
We are at war with foreign nations. Sri Lanka is cursed by geography. India, China, Europe, the US, England, Japan, and Norway want to control us. We are a porn in their geopolitical battleground. We must stand united so they cannot divide us.
Religion
Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, and all others are free to practise their religion, so long as it causes no harm to human or animal. Trouble making politicians or religous leaders who breed hatred or cause riots will be sent to prison
Education
The purpose of education will be to build character. We will scrap the British system of blind obedience which produced a nation of thieves. Royal College and Visaka will open new campuses in Jaffna, Kandy, and Galle. Online classes allow 150,000 extra students go to university. Our youth can do far more than drive Trishaws

Jobs
Jobs come from industry. We will turn the tables from simply exporting raw materials for other countries to gain the profit. We will change our colonial thinking. We will value add by investing and building industries to research, design, process, refine, package, and distribute Sri Lankan products to foreign markets. Our bright minds will shine and bring prosperity to the nation
Unity
The island will not be divided into federal states. There will be only one government, one defence force, one police force, and one judicial system. But let's be clear, these institutions will no longer be dominated by the sinhala budhist majority. Hundreds of key posts in government institutions and the police force will have their sinhala budhist leaders vacated, and replaced with honest people from all religions, races, genders, and age groups
Judges
Politicians have gotten away with murder because our supreme court judges were corrupt. Supreme court judges will have their tenure limited to 12 years or age 65. Parliament will appoint supreme court judges by simple majority. Once appointed, any judge can be removed if they receive 50% of the public's vote to dismiss them (which will occur each year)
Drugs
Drugs destory the lives of our youth. Thugs, customs agents, the police force, armed forces, business leaders, and politicians will be held to account by a new branch of special forces trained and funded to investigate, arrest, and prosecute drug dealers and the entire chain of command behind them
Happiness
Happiness comes from living in a community that cares for each other. Whether people live in villages, towns, or the city, kindness will be our daily ritual. We will change our culture from today's obsession of gathering personal wealth to helping each other and seeking peace
Our politicians are corrupt. They robbed our nation's wealth and stole our children's future. If we replaced all 225 members of parliament with fresh, young, and honest people, in a short time they too will be rotten to the core. Power corrupts. The solution is to chain parliament to the Lamp Manifesto, thereby enslaving our politicians so they can only stay in power by serving the people.
